TSX Wheels on a TL?
Just trying to figure out if anyone has done this, and if so, any pics? I'm trying to figure out if this would work for my winter wheel setup.
Thanks!
Thanks!

TSX
Tires: 215/50-17
Wheels: 17x7, +55mm offset, 5x114.3mm 64.1mm centerbore
TL
Tires:235/45-17
Wheels: 17X8.0 +45mm offset 5x114.3 64.1mm centerbore
If I understand offset the "+" 55mm will put them out farther 10mm. (not tuck them in) The inch narrower width (25.4mm) should tend to counter-act by about 12.7mm that. So things just might work.
The other thing is are you an MT or AT. The MT has brake clearance to be concerned with because of the Brembos.
Having said all that I think the TSX wheels have too many spokes for my taste on a TL. Or to be honest, I think they would look pretty bad.

Actually, it's the other way around.
The TSX wheels will sit deeper in the fender well by about 0.9 inch. The +55 offset pushes the wheels farther IN 10 mm given the same width. The narrower width actually pushes the wheel even deeper.
If they clear the brake calipers, the TSX wheels will make the TL look weak because the wheels/tires sit so deep inside the fender well.

Thanks for the responses.
I was looking at a cheap way to have decent rims to mount my winter rubber on. but looking at the posts above, I'll decline.
The Stealership wants $2,400 tax in for a set of TL 17's with winter rubber. Too much for me to spend on right now, since Christmas is around the corner.
Thanks again.

I won't make that mistake again. I should have used this little gem...
