Tried to install lowering springs today...

So i got the drivers side shock and spring out without a hitch. Took about an hour and a half to take out and reinstall the shock assembly. But then i ran into a problem.

The front passenger side dampner fork bolt is completely frozen. There was no way that thing was budging. I was wondering what could be causing this and looked around and everything started to make sense...

Ever since i bought my car used (with 40000 miles on it) it has pulled to the right. I have had 2 separate sets of tires and 2 alignments which have never really fixed the rightward pulling issue, only temporarily lessened it.

As I looked around I started noticing things didnt look the same as the drivers side. Everything seemed to be bend a few degrees backward. So I concluded that the previous owner nailed a curb, and decided to trade the thing in. So, monday morning, I have to take it to the shop to have the parts replaced.

But at least theyll put in my lowering springs!

Wow....sorry to hear that. How many miles have you put on it now since you found this out? I had an 01 Maxima and hit a curb pretty hard and replaced alot of stuff in the front end and still couldn't quite get a perfect alignment, so I just got a lifetime tire rotation and kept rotating my tires about 3-5K miles. Wasn't bad because it was the same place I had my oil changes done at. Pics of before and after the springs. Also what springs do you have? Thanks!~

Oh wow that doesnt sound promising that the alignment never got back to normal...but i went with the B&G race springs. the side with the spring installed looks sick. But the passenger side still sits high so it looks bad haha

Thanks guys, everything is fixed now, so im extremely happy. it doesnt pull, shake under braking or shake at highway speeds. I couldnt believe all of it was caused by (it turned out to be) one bent part.

And yes, I did ride around like a cholo on bags lol
