TPMS and Wheels

TPMS and Wheels

I am in the market of buying some 19" wheels for my 07 TL Type-S but am curious about what it does to the internal TPMS? I heard that it will go crazy and beep to communicate a tire pressure error every time i turn the car on, but does anyone know if there is a way to avoid this? It would be nice if I can avoid having this error on my dashboard every time i drive the car..

If you know anything about it, please let me know. I really would appreciate it!

me personally have had 2 cars with TPMS that i have upsized the wheels on and never had any issues ............i currently run a 20 inch wheel and the tpms came right out of my stock 17"s.......all my readings are correct and i have never had any issues .............

Size is not a problem as the TPMS sensors can be transferred, but one must be careful when mounting the sensors into a new wheel. Due to the shape of the wheels, not all wheels will accept the sensors properly and at times alternate installations must be used, but as far as pressure readings, there will be no problem.
