TPMS Sensors

Hey everyone, quick question getting ready to install some New OEM TPMS Sensors on my winter rims and tires,

never owned a car with sensors before and never installed them before,

what I'm after is, is there any specific things i should know about? any tricks?

torque specs? etc.

ive done a search and didnt come with any direct info that answered my question

Im doin the install tomorrow so any quick info would be great,

Thanks Everyone!

Ken

I think most people go to a shop and just get them put on. I was only charged $8 to have mine installed.

Exactly. Why frig with them when you don't have to?

OP: are you mounting the tires on the rims yourself?

If the tires are installed, you'll need to break down the tire in order to install the sensor. Also, the tire should be rebalanced after the sensor is installed.

That's why most people just take it to a shop. It cuts out a ton of unneeded hassle.
