TPMS + Rims H-E-L-P!!!

Alright so i just got a set of rims MRR Gt1's on an 08 TL-S (19'' staggered) and i had them installed yesterday and all was well until.... TPMS message pops up on the nav screen and in the MID.... so i scroll through the MID and click on the TPMS and it says functional error... so i click to check the PSI readings... and at first it displayed 35/58 psi Front Two, and 58/35 psi on the back two... so i brought it back to the tire shop and they adjusted it and says it will take some time but the computer will adjust, so i go back home and stare at my rims all happy and what not- then a few hours later started my 3 hour long journey to school (NJ to RI). On the way, i get message after message on my nav screen giving me like 50 different psi readings... and each time it was different. And now when i check the PSI reading on the MID they are all blank and it says functional error.

Does anyone know how i can fix this? That little exclamation point is annoying as hell and the every time i turn on my car that bright orange TPMS light comes on. Do i have to bring it to the dealer?

Wait, so you bought an extra set of sensors and put them in the MRR's correct?

Do you need to buy new sensors when you get new rims or can you use your stock sensors on the new rims? Just a thought....

If you bought an extra set of tpms sensor and install them on your Aftermarket rims, the reading on the display should say 58 to all four tires. and it will read normal later on, but if your nav says that the sensors have problems then it might be the sensors. Then if you bought sensors that is not made for the right car then that can also be a prob. I sure hope someone has the answer to the problem for you but that is what i think

just drive it... after a certain amount of miles it will display it

not like on american cars where you have to install the wheels in a certain order

Yup, there is no reset procedure. It's simple plug and play. The TPMS should work almost immediately after you start driving.
