Tpms Light? Get Rid Of Light?

I Just Put 20" Wheels On My 06 Tl. The Tpms Light Keeps Coming On. Does Anyone Know How To Get Rid Of The Light? I Tried To Pull The Fuse But That Just Keeps The Light On.

Did you mount the tpms wheel sensors in each of the 20" wheels? If not you arent going to get rid of the tpms light since the tpms control unit cannot communicate with the sensors the tpms unit will record a fault and set dtc's and thereofore the light will stay on!

not only do you get the dash light .. but the damn car pops up messages CONSTANTLY lol .. i was going to just leave the sensors out for my winter setup .. but just based on my few hours alone with out em .. i bought a used set LOL

You can't get rid of it .. but its so small you can hardly see it or notice it .. I didn't put the sensors in my summer wheels. The notice comes on once then not again till the car is shut off & restarted.

Option: Go to the local tint shop and get 2 sq" of 5% limo tint and apply a small rectangle of it over the area of the light on the gauge face.

After a period of time, and I can't figure out the logic , you get a ding and a msg saying check the TPMS system .. you just press the button and you don't see it again till you restart.

Air contracts in the cold ... check them cold and fill to spec on the door .. the light will reset itself once corrected.

So again, the sensors weren't swapped over? Didn't' fit on the aftermarket wheel?

And what's with the caps on every word....weird. LoL

Its an option ... I didn't swap mine and I just ignore the small TPMS light. Tire gauge at $10 was a lot cheaper and I can read.
