TPMS on '06 TL

Does the TPMS on the '06 TL give direct readings on all four tires, or is just a system that tells you a tire is low by X number of pounds by a light in the Message Center?

both, it gives you a reading per tire through the multi display on the dash (don't know the correct name), and an idiot light will come on if your tire pressure goes below some threshold (time to read the manual)

It is a REAL-TIME readout. I watch the TPMS readout while driving more than I watch the speedometer. It is fun to be able to see how the tires warm-up, and the affects it has on the pressure. You can watch the pressure increase pound-by-pound as the tires warm-up.

The warning system will kick-in at 25 PSI for sure. When I was experimenting with different tire pressure, my pressure was at 25 psi one morning. After about 60 seconds of having the car rolling, the LOW PRESSURE WARNING appeared on the MID. It was not until the pressure raised to 29 psi before the warning was reset (disappeared from the MID).

Also, I know the LOW PRESSURE WARNING will Not kick-in at 27 psi. I ran 27 psi for one day, and had no warning. So, the warning will be triggered by either 25 or 26 psi.

Also, to clarify, you are able to see each tire pressure in REAL-TIME. On the MID, there are four numbers (one number for each tire), which change indepenadant of each other.

What amazes me about this system is how you'll start off with all tires being the same psi. The pressures on the front change depending on what type of turns you make.

I've been running at 35psi cold. Pressure will get to 37-38psi when hot. I still experimenting with the pressure/ride quality.
