Tokico vs Koni shocks

I need to order some new shocks and do not know which ones to purchase. When I searched for new shocks Tokico and Koni were the two that populated. Has anyone used either Tokico or Koni shocks? If so how would you rate them? Would you recommend any other brand?

Thanks for all your advise.

TOKICO is a good replacement shock for factory springs or lowering springs but KONI has more adjustability and is overall better quality. You could also consider the NEUSPEED SP3 shocks which are made by KONI. We have all the prices on our website.

Also if you do order the TOKICO shocks order them for the 03-07 Accord V6. They're cheaper and they bolt up on the TL.

If 03-07 Accord Tokico shocks are ordered do any mods have to be made? Can they be purchased off a 06 Accord Coupe?

How are KYB 2 GR2 shocks ?

Just looking for a smooth ride on factory springs for now.

Chicago streets suck!!!

I had both. Save yourself some money and get the Tokico shocks. I never once touched the settings on the Koni's.

I run Koni Sp3's and they are great! The stiffest setting is hard as hell and the softest setting is smoother than a Cadi. So no matter what your prefrence is, there is adjustment to get the ride EXACTLY where you want it. Plus it nice to be able to adjust the ride height to lower than most full coilovers

P.S. I still have two notches left to go down in the back and one more in the front

for the tokicos, the only one they have is 03-07 accord coupe v6. it doesnt matter about the coupe/sedan or v6/i4, it all fits.

Both brands are good shocks.
For a 3G TL, I would go Koni for the options.

New to the Site

I have an '03 TL base with 127K miles. I need new shock/struts. I have stock springs and want to keep the springs as is. I would appreciate a little better handling over what the OEM shocks supply. How will the Tokico blues handle compared to the OEM's? Also are there other shocks that would work as well or better than the Blues and yet still help with the ride quality for rough city street driving?

Thanks for any of your thoughts!
