TL OEM wheels

Tried doing a search for this but didnt find anything. Those of you who have purchased rims to replace your 2004-06 TL OEM rims, did you end up keeping the OEM ones or did you sell them?

If you did sell them, how much did you sell them for or how much do you think you can get for them? Is there any advantage to keeping the OEM rims? I can understand if you're in a cold weathered state and switch it out for the winter or if you plan on selling the car soon, but any other reason you would want to keep them?

I keep mine. I always keep my OEM wheels so when the time comes to sell the car, you don't have to worry about searching eBay, etc to get OEM wheels.

BTW, If you want to sell yours, PM me with the condition, mileage, and the asking price. I'm looking for another set.

Gonna run mine as winter rims / tires AND as noted above I'll still have them when I sell the car. Not as good as snows on stellies but still a pretty good plan imho.

Ya, I plan on keeping them, just not sure where to store them since I dont have a garage or storage area to keep them in and I dont want to stack 'em in the living room or somethin' like that. Also wasn't sure if it'd be worth it just to sell 'em then buy 'em later when needed.

Bottom line is I guess ya gotta do what works for you. Since you're not into using them as endtables do ya have a friend who can store them for you? If storage is that much of an issue I'm sure you could pick some up a few years down the road if you sell the car. Also, the aftermarket rims that you will buy for the TL will only be good to you if your next car has the same bolt pattern and a similar offset. Maybe when the time comes to trade the car in it would be cheaper and easier for ya to either swap straight with someone who as stock rims on their TL or just leave 'em on the car?

You should have no problem selling them....If you want I'll give you 200 cash and I'll pick up....I will save you time and hassles but you should be able to get more that 200 for them anywhere..

or sell it to someone like me... I've recently bent my OEM rim and I need to buy ONE from someone... anybody has them for sale? If you want to sell all 4 as a set... let's discuss that as well...

I would love to do business with someone that lives in New Jersey, but I will travel to reasonable distance... or maybe even thru UPS, but I imagine shipping to be pretty expensive...

Currently, mine are in the garage...but when I lived in an apartment with no storage closet, I put the stock wheels of my old car in the closet in the second bedroom.

I used my extra IROC Z wheels (back in the day) for end tables next to the couch! One round peice of glass....you are set! Alternate plan....coffee table! But...you got to be a REAL bachelor to get away with that one! My finacee would friggin be very upset! Already been hitting me for the dining room I am starting to refill. Yep...thats refill!

Who uses a dining room anyway?

There was 2005 acura tl oem rims that I saw on ebay. After the closing of the bid there were 14 bids with the highest bidder paying $800 bucks for them. This included the tires as well and the tires had 4000 miles on them and the wheels looked flawless...

I just replaced a bent rim (damn IL roads... ). I got a used one through Discount Tire.. The rim is perfect, no rash from curbs, and I didn't have to pay full price from the dealer ($275 quoted from Ed Napleton Acura)
