TL Makeover - Shine vs Tein
Hello all,
I just wanted to give credit where it's due and give props to Tein for their "basic damper" coilovers. I've driven a lowered car for the last 10 years and never imagined that one could ride so smooth - I don't even notice much of a difference from stock. I did a lot of research before I purchased these and listened to a lot of what you guys had to say on here, and honestly, I couldn't be happier with the product, so thanks for all of the help! We dropped my car 2 inches all around (measured on the threads), it eliminated all of the fender gap and gave me just the right amount of tuck without rubbing - ever. I still have a lot of ground clearance and don't scrape up every piece of roadkill that I drive over.
Also, I wanted to post pictures of my car because when I was looking for wheels, I only found a few pics out there with my color (abyss blue pearl) and it was really hard for me to gauge which wheels would actually look good on it. I ended up going with the Axis Shines because I love the dish and the simple clean look. I'm really happy with how it turned out. Again, thanks for the help!
