It sounds like you have no idea what you're doing.

How wide are the wheels? Offset? Centerbore? Are you lowered? Are your fenders rolled?

As of right now, the tires are the wrong size. The sidewall needs to be 40 when you have 18" wheels on the TL.

I guess the seller doesn't know the specs either

I would pass. Find someone who knows what they're doing; plus I like the stock wheels more.

Our bolt pattern is 5x114.3. If the two patterns on those wheels is 5x112 and 5x120, they won't fit.

Also, our centerbore is 64.1mm, so even if the pattern was correct, you would need rings to make sure they fit on the hub correctly.

You're welcome! Don't rush into anything just because you think you're getting a good deal. Do your research and be as informed as possible. Proven by that Craigslist post, not every seller is legit or knows what they're doing.

Your link doesn't work.

It sounds like you're trying to change the look of your car the cheapest way possible. Speaking from experience, save your pennies and do it correctly. Cutting corners will only cost you more in the long run.

You shouldn’t be looking at wheels if you haven’t done your research, that’s an expensive mod to mess up. First learn about wheel/tire specs and how they affect everything, then play with wheel/tire calculators and figure out what setup will work for you. Then look for wheels/tires in the appropriate specs. Also think ahead if you plan to go lower.

Not really

You could try to find a set of Type-S or A-Spec wheels. They were made specifically for the TL so you won't have any issues.

20s typically look too big on the TL, but that comes down to personal preference.

20x8.5 +30 will be fine up front. Run a 235/40/18.

20x10 +40 in the rear is pretty aggressive. I would suggest rolling your rear fenders and running 245/40/18 or 255/40/18 back there. Why do you want a 10" wide wheel in the back? Staggered looks great, but doesn't make too much sense on a FWD car. Doing that prevents you from buying the same size tires and also from rotating tires in the future to help tread life. Same goes for the 9.5" width you posted.

***The biggest thing to note is that the hub bore you listed is incorrect for the TL. Our car has a 64.1mm hub bore, while the wheels you posted are 73.1mm. Find a set that have the correct hub bore or buy hubcentric rings that ensure the wheel fits on the hub correctly.

Personally, I would buy four of the 19x8.5 +30 so they can be rotated. Run a 235/40/18 and buy 64.1mm to 73.1mm hubcentric rings. After that, consider lowering your car a bit and rolling the rear fenders.

So you bought them before doing any research?

From what I've found, the hub bore of the G37 wheels is 66.1mm, so you'll need 64.1mm to 66.1mm hubcentric rings.

No need to ask the same question in two threads.

You need to keep the same sidewall size for the front and rear.

Ok so I've heard 235/35/19 all around. But since the back rims on the g37's are wider shouldn't I get 245/35/19's in stead for the back? I'm buying the tires today just wanted a second opinion...................again.

Rough draft. Soo I wasn't decided on the drop what are your thoughts? I was thinking a longer front bumper because I like the feel of the stock suspension. Anyhoot yours thoughts please.
