I appreciate the assumption of your beginning statement but I don't come on here for some wise ass remarks. If there is a problem with 225 why not state the reasons why?
You haven't been here long enough to say what's acceptable and what's not, Mr 48 posts. I was just funning with you, it's a joke, not a dick, don't take it so hard sweetie.

225 is too small for a 9.5" wheel, end of story.

Dont care care how long I have been here. Respect is respect. Now that that's settled.

I purchased the tires already so they will have to get mounted and then I'll see. If they are to small then I'll change them. I saw some cars with similar and smaller set ups. I'll just add mine to the list here.

Great, another stanceboi. Plan on running -8° camber as well? Nevermind, don't answer that...

Nope. I won't be doing that stance stuff. If it doesn't work to my liking I'll just get different tires. That's all. Since you said it depends on the wheels then I'll find out. My a-spec wheels have a 245 on them and are 18 x 8.5. They are square and beefy. These are 9.5. It should not be that dramatic.

265/35 is the correct fit for 9.5, so your 225/40 will be quite stretched (unless you plan on getting Yokohama AD08R's, which run very wide).

You'll also note quite a bit more of a harsh ride because the tire is only 25.1" tall, and don't look for any curbing protection, as there is none with a 225.
