To those with HT Spec Type 1's
Are u "slammed"? I want a set of coilovers, but I would be dropping it about 2.5". I am concerned that without adjustable dampening, I may bottom out being that low. Its a daily driver, and I don't wanna bottom out going over dips and such, especially during highway driving. I would get the type 2s, but I am cheap, and don't wanna spend extra loot, if the type 1s will suffice and if I don't have to. Any input would be appreciated TIA.

i'm also dropped about 1.5inch or so. well actually i got about a 1.5 to 2 finger gap all around so i'm guessing that's more about 1.7-2inch drop.
the coilovers are great and definitely noticeably more stable when taking sharp turns at slow or high speeds. before i could feel the whole weight of the car shift and the car will actually lean with the shift of momentum.
now with the new coilovers its alot less noticeable. car feels great when cornering or just regular driving. as for regular bumps n such they aren't bad at all..
i'm riding on oem 17" wheels with 235/45s if that helps you any at all..
