Thinking of Getting Forgestar F14's

Hey guys,

After looking at pics of cars with the F14s, i really dig the gunmetal ones. I want to get the following, let me know if it will be a prob

My suspension:
Neuspeed + Koni 1.75" in front 1.5" in back

My current setup wheel/tire

Wheel: Ace RS4 18x8
Tire: 245 40zr18 Continental Extreme Contact tires

Would like to get:

http://www.elementwheels.com/proddet...d=fs-f14gm1885

Wheel: Gunmetal Forgestar f14 18x8.5 (35mm or 45mm offset)
Tire: 225/45/18 Falken tires.

Should this setup be ok? I would like to minimize any wheel gap. Also, not quite sure what is better, 35mm or 45mm offset. Thanks for the advice!

If you guys recommend a different size tire or offset let me know.

You shouldn't rub, and get the 35, the 45 just isn't aggressive enough imo, and the more concave these rims look, the better they look. PM me with any other questions, I've learned about everything there is to know about these rims...

Edit-you could probably run a 235 up front and still be ok

you are not making that drastic of a change coming from RS4 wheels, they look very similar. Why change at all then?

I like the gunmetal color. Plus I want a wider wheel

Alright so after thinking long and hard, I decided to go with a different wheel.

TSW Nurburgring in machinefaced gunmetal 18x8.5 45mm. The other offset they offer is +20 and that's just too low for me. I will be running 235/40/18 tires with a 1.75" drop in front and 1.5" drop in back.

Conservative fitting. Let's see how this goes, i'll post pics when done.

Too funny, I'm considering both of these wheels as well, except I'm looking at the matte gunmetal in the TSW. Anyone know the weight on the Forgestars? The 19x9 TSW are only 21.9 lbs, which is still 2-3 lbs lighter than stock.

Any potential fitment issues on the TSW in 19x9, 32 offset, 235/35/19, lowered on H&R Sports ~1.5", with Brembos?

Yup, that's Sharksbreath's car; you can find the specs and everything on his Progress thread page 14-15.
