Tein SS question

I purchased a set of Tein SS a few weeks ago and decided to get them put on this Saturday at a local shop. I told them i wanted a 1 inch drop. It took them about four hours to do it. I came to pick up my car (04 tl) and the front end looked slammed to the ground. The guy at the desk told me it was an off road suspension.... when i took it for a drive i heard metal clunking sounds and took it right back. They said they were closing and would fix Monday. I took it back Monday early and they had it all day. I went back at 5 pm and the guy said he had to add a rubber and metal piece to make it stop clunking but they would need another day to finish. I thought this was a 4 hour job and all parts were included in the kit? I bought the kit from Excelerate so i know its legit. What were your experiences and are they pulling my leg? what are ya'll think?

They are defintely pulling your leg! Either get them to raise the car up or raise it yourself with the spanner wrenches. Odds are bottomed out in the front. Pics of the drop would help. Get the car outta there before they mess something else up

I would never go to that shop again. I mean like the guy said above...its only suspension. They needed to switch top hats from the stock shocks. More than likely they forgot to put the rubber bushing and washer back on.

lol yes. Everything from the stock top hats are to be used. All you should have from the stock is the shocks and springs. You can post pics by uploading to a website like photobucket.com and then copying the link to here.

those are just the bump stops. New ones come with the teins. But where are the front ones? are you still getting the clunking?

Well good news, finally got the car back and it rides great. I have it set on the stiffest setting and love it.
