I have an opportunity to buy a set of Tein S.Tech springs new for $125 from a private seller which seems to be a very good deal. If you have a Type S and have installed these springs, I would like to know what drop you ended up with and if you are happy with the ride. The advertised drop is 1.2"F/1.3"R which is about exactly what I am looking for.

I'm interested in seeing this setup, also. I'm not sure if I want coilovers...

 

Others with first-had experience will provide better info but, putting lowering springs on the stock suspension (base or S) will cause premature wear. I'm just beginning my suspension research, but pretty much everybody that has done this has said they should have just gone with coilovers.

 

buy them!... i have them on my 04 TL... same box as urs only thing u have type s, but get aftermarket shocks for them like the Koni Yellow SP3s... do not mount the springs on OEM shocks...

i just installed mine with tokico blues last week, heres the link for pics, as for hieght i have and auto and it diff. lowered more then 1.2 or 1.3 once they settle.
