Tein S Tech Question

I'm looking to lower my 05 TL on Tein S Tech springs on stock shocks for now. I've seen it been done with 235/35 and 235/40 tires, but I have 235/45 Cooper CS5's on the car currently. Will I be able to drop it without rubbing or scraping or am I going to need a smaller tire? Has anyone done this before?

You shouldn't have to worry about rubbing.

It's when you put on spacers and go with wider wheels you'll need to worry.

I have the S-techs with my stock wheels (235/45/17) and also have 15mm spacers in front and 20 mm spacers in rear and no rubbing.

No, they're simple bolt-on.

The spacers come with the studs on them. Just like so:

I am having my S-Tech's put on in a few days with stock wheels and shocks (just hit 100K).
Will I have any issues with this? Should I absolutely change the shocks or will they last a while? Thanks in advance!

If you're having just the springs put on your car with stock struts that have 100K on them, then yes, the springs will kill your struts in short order.
