Tein S-Tech and H-Tech Springs with A spec Struts

Was looking to see if anyone has used either Tein S-tech or H-tech springs with Aspec struts and to see what the overall feeling was with ride, performance, etc. Eventually im going to a full coilover but wanted a mild drop with some extra stiffness so to speak until i make that switch. Any feedback would be appreciated

I haven't personally experienced TEIN spring on Aspec struts, but I'm pretty sure there have been some members on here who had this setup. I wouldn't really recommend the STech springs since they are pretty aggressive, you might end up blowing out those struts. The HTech springs would probably be your best bet, but I would still recommend upgrading to Koni Yellow shocks for any lowering spring.

That what I figured. Honestly im not looking to slam the car. The streets here in St Louis are terrible so im looking for a mild drop no more than 1.5 inches. Thank you for the info

If you're not looking to slam the car or have it be too aggressive, I think the HTech springs would be perfect for you. You can order them right from our website for $183

What coilover setup would you recommend that has height adjustment that starts out mild?

^it would be best to save your money, until you can buy the coilovers.

<----I spend 300-400 on springs only to spend 1000 later on coilovers, because springs couldnt achieve what I wanted it to do.

you should also buy the coilovers that has the features you want.

the BC coilovers are one of most feature laden coilovers on the market.
Tien has a comparable coilover but i forgot what model its called.
also, XLR8 has their own brand of coilovers which are pretty fantastic as well

Your right why spend the money on something your just gonna replace later and spend more on top of that. I need to do some more research

Do you have any pictures that you could show me so I can see the stance. And how is the ride quality?

Check out my progress thread.

The ride is not bad, I definitely find it a bit bouncier than a-spec shocks.

The Street Advance is probably your best bet. Starts you off with a mild drop, and has independent 16 way damping adjustment.

Your car will be going through a serious transformation! We should have most of these items in stock at our warehouse when you're ready to order.
