Come on man do your research.

Tein Basic allows height adjustment but no dampening adjustment.

Tein SS allows both.

Choose how much you wanna spend and there you go.

it's hard to get an answer because everyone has different ride comfort tolerance. find members in you area and ask them to take you for a ride to get a better feel.

we'll not really our roads here is just as bad as every where else. the reason we ride so low is because we have the mentallity for looks first than comfort second. oh and the coilovers isn't as bad as you think, the only way the ride is gonna be harsh is if you ride slammed and the comfort setting is set to the stiffest, which i dought he will be doing but its up to him. I personnaly would say.......... go for it

Hey how do you lower your ride with the supercup kit? Are they coilovers? Just wondering, don't you have to take the whole suspension out to adjust the height or something? I was just wondering...

PEACE!

People in FL and Cali don't really count cuz your roads are way too nice. I'm in FL right now, and I feel like I'm on stock suspension, its crazy. I see you're from CT... and if you are close to the NYC area like I am.. you will shoot yourself if you don't get the SS. That's all I'm going to say. Even with the SS, the ride is noticeably stiffer, I can't imagine if I was on Basic.

ok the differance between the 2 is that the coilovers is easier to adjust, just jack the car up and turn the collars but no dampening feature which will probly have a harsher ride. The supercupkit you have to disasemble the whole suspention to adjust the ride hight but it features dampening control to achive a smoother ride, so give or take.... easier adjustment or a little harsher ride.... if your into often adjusting ride hight then go with the coils it probly won't be as harsh unless u slam it to the ground. if your gonna leave your suspention alone and not gonna mess around with it to much then go with supercup.. i personally went with the ss coils for the ease of adjustment sometimes i feel like riding low and sometimes i feel like riding HIGH and is very simple to adjust.. hope that helps but it really boils down to your preferance ..

TEIN Basics offer ride height adjustment and a firmer but not stiff ride than stock. They improve handling while giving you the ability to lower the car fairly aggressively without sacrificing ride quality.

The Neuspeed Super Cup Kit uses KONI shocks which allow you to change the ride height only before installation with a lowering spring. They offer damping adjustment.

Both are great options; it just depends on what you're looking for. The Cup Kit should be available to ship very soon and they are now $695 shipped to the cont US
