should i order these?? what's basic mean?

 

^^^basic simply means u can adjust the height of the car but you connot adjust the dampening

it means you can adjust the stiffness of the them ..any one got any pix of basics on their TL ? i just ordered a set and cant wait to put them on once they come in ...

 

so when i hit bumps it'll be sorta a rough ride or no?

 

If you plan to keep the car for a while you should get the tein SS or Megans. Becuase sooner or later you'll want to adjust the dampers aka shocks.

 

^can you explain that better? why do you say that? why will he want to adjust them? will he want to make them stiffer or softer? why are they fine "for a while", personal pref or a parts/wear issue? he's asking for help, yo. and yes i am interested too. ha

 

Well the tein basic will give you a drop but if you ever want it back up to the stock height it wont go as high as the stock. And if you ever decide to upgarde you wheels to a bigger size you might want a softer ride, so with the basic you cant adjust that. I never said "fine for a whlie" I said "if you plan to keep the car for a whlie." It gives you more options if you care.

 

Damping is how soft or firm the ride is. You have some adjustment of damping with the TEIN SS.
