Strata Tire 235/45/17

My stock Bridgestone EL42's were bald at 28K miles so I had to get some new ones. So I called around looking for some mid-grade tires (Kumho, Falkens, etc). I call a place near my house and they have some tires called Strata and he can give them to me for $240 including installation. I was like ok I am going down right now as I thought it was an excellent deal. In the end, $240 was the price and I am very happy with the tires. HAS ANYBODY HEARD OF THESE?

how many tires? IMO i have never heard of them nor would I consider putting them on a $33k + car. You shouldnt expect to get much life out of them...

I've never heard of that brand and according to this Ebay ad they are "new to the us market" -- whatever that means...

Also, they are more than you paid ($290 shipped).

4 tires

I paid for $240 for all 4 tires and that was including installation. Falken Ziex's were $380 installed and Kumho ASX were $400 installed. I called 2 other stores and they carried the Strata's for $320 installed.

Hopefully I'll get equal or more life than putting back expensive Bridgestone EL42's on a $33K + car. The ebay link is the same tire with exact same tread pattern.

Wait a minute! If the speed rate is what I think they are, I don't think I would want them.
