Stock / Factory Wheels – The Different Styles Pictures Please

Could someone help me out and post pictures of the options for 2007 TL stock wheels. I’m a bit confused.

The two types that I know of are:
Type 1: Five spoke wheels that appear to be painted silver or grey.

Type 2: Also five spoke wheels that appear not to be painted and also have slots in the spoke and as such appear to be more “spokey” (if that’s a word).

All of the non – Type-S TLs that I’ve seen have the “Type 1” wheels (painted).
No need to post the Type-S wheels as I know what they look like and don’t plan on buying a Type-S anyhow (if it’s easier to post all pictures of all wheel options… who am I to stop you).

Thanks for any help,
-Matt

The "A-Spec" wheels still look the best, IMHO.

Great. Thanks for the pictures. Now answer me this...why in the heck are dealers selling 07 TL's with stock 06 wheels on them because that's what we've seen and that's what we've driven (in Michigan and Chicago).

Sure do!

If I picked up an 07 TL-S I'd tell the dealer to lose the Type S rims and put on the aspecs.

That i cannot answer, at my dealer all from what i saw the 07's have the new style wheels on them! But from my dealership experience from working at one, they do some neaky stuff once in a while!

Anyone got a picture of the optional 17" 15 spoke chrome look rims that are available for the TL & Type S? Would like to see how they look on the TL

You could include the aspecs in the car deal, it just depends what you can work out with the dealer. I bought mine after the fact once i got some money for like $2,200 w/ tires.

I got my A-spec wheels for $1310 from the dealer when I bought my car. But that didn't include the cost of the tires. I wanted All Seasons not the summer tires that they sell as a package with the A-specs.
