my tl is lowered already, but i need help with the play in the steering wheel, especially tourque steer. any suggestions on tightening steering, other then sway bars?

 

Is there a reason why you say other than sway bars?

check if you car is part of the power steering hose recall - and get that fixed first!

 

that's why I love this site...I know that this post was back in 08...don't know how I was missed with the recall. I checked MYAcura.com and low and behold I'm included in the recall. Yea....I've got some play coming in my 06 TL steering...it kinda bumps side to side when I turn the wheel. Not sure if this is the problem...but we'll start here

 

matter of fact I think they already fixed it....so if you know what causes slight excessive play in steering when driving slow or stopped please help!
