STANCE: Almost there...

Yeah man...
That's how I wanted it DecaFe.... I wanted the rear to barely miss the lip while tucking... that's why I added camber to the suspension before delivering the car to the shop.... I let random people play with the remote control and I don't want any damage to the fenders... if anything I'll add possitive camber to get them FLUSH

It's funny...at first, I was like, why would you want the lip sticking that far out...I know it's a new thing to have that...but I don't get it...but with the body work to flare the fenders...WOW. In the words of the great Paris Hilton..."that's hot".

Thanks guys... I'm glad to share the progress with y'all... To at least document how I really got the wheels to fit the car. I was going to just show the finished product, but decided to share the process, while having fun with it.
Yeah Alex... The handles are off cause the whole car is getting respray (painted) and the body man is very maticulous about his work... He removes everything instead of taping shit off... The window trims are coming off too... Actuall the roof, hood and trunk aren't getting painted ... Pearl is a bitch to blend so he has to spray complete panels...
I hope to have more progress photos soon...

Rodney, this is going to be awesome...it's getting very interesting, for sure!

You are outta control Rod. Looks sick so far. You're always meticulous and organized about the work you put into your ride in order to execute it on point. Can't wait to roll out sometime this summer, it's been a while!

ps. I can't believe I missed this thread... I remember we was at the circle at my job and I was busy drooling over the hid's and shit, pre-air ride... and you mentioned the specs... I knew you was gonna do it big, but I guess it was hard to imagine... now that it is becoming a reality... I can only say...

this is what i'm talking about!!!
It's either u do fender work or just roll them, not pull them, cuz that shit looks wrong..
I'm lookin forward to the finished product.. gonna be the sickest vip style TL ON AZ. hands down.. I can already tell by the body work. Keep it up rod.

hey rod... can you lay on the subframe or was it you that said the upper control arms hit at max drop?
#77
No, the air ride does NOT lay frame...
The front control upper control arms hit the strut tower when you drive at 10 psi...
Air Runner didn't design their kit to lay frame... sometimes I wish they did... but they didn't... I'm looking into some things to achieve laying frame... but I'm on R&D mode right now... let's see if it's cost effective to achieve it...
