Staggered or the same all around?

Whats up guys, ive been having a hard time deciding what to go with, wanted to hear some opinions on the matter to maybe help me decide lol, im getting XD9's, either i was going to get 10x18 +18 all around, or go with a staggered look, 18x9 +20 (front) 18x10 +18 (rear). I have seen both these setups before but still cant decide what to go with, what do you guys personally think looks better, staggered or not? Any pros and cons?

Thanks

I like my set up's square all around.

I think it just looks silly to have a beast of a fitment in the rear, but the front's look a little weak.

would you run different sized stretched tire on the front vs rear if you did go staggered?

I know it's mostly for looks but aren't staggered setups usually more functional on RWD cars? I know a lot of people like staggered but I just think it's ironic that they put it on a FWD drive

I'd stick to same personally but to each their own

but of course, we dont know your goals or aspirations @janagan.

if you strive for a certain look, where only the staggered set up can achieve, obviously go for it.

This is why I always ask; what are you goals for the car?
if stancing out is your thing, go fourth and make the cambergang proud

I was leaning towards square all around, i was going to run the same size tires for front and rear, either 215/40/18 or 225/40/18.

Go 22's in the front and 26's in the back!

Also keep in mind with a staggered set up, you will have limited tire rotation options, unless of course you don't mind having the wider rim/tire on the front axle half the time

I would recommend square. Only real benefit is looks on a stagger for this platform. That being said, it all depends on your priorities.

If all squared example 19x9.5 all around with stretched tires will we still have issues rotating tires?

^no, because each wheel has the same width and the same tire. so, you can freely switch or rotate each side.

Lot of people, do the same tire all around, BUT more aggressive rear offset

That way, front and rear look flushed, and you are running same rubber

my original plan was to go staggered but now rotating tires will be less of an option, thanks for letting me know that, BUT what if I go with none directional tires and just swap left to right, right to left to even the tire wear. Could that help the longevity of the tire?

It will help, but remember its a FWD car. So you are still going to see much more wear on the front and be replacing them much sooner than the rears.
