Spring recommendations...

Next week I should have my new wheels/tires on my TL-S. I want to drop it and get rid of some of the wheel to fender gap. What are some recommendations for springs? Are comtech better than most?

I also don't want the rear to sag like some people seem to have happening.

I have Comptech springs on right now and I am having some rubbing issues in the rear. If I were you I would look into H&R. The reason being that those springs drop the front a little more than the rear. I am probably going to pull my comptechs off and put on H&R's.

it depends on how aggressive you want to go. Your tires andwheels also play a part.

for moderate drop:
Comptech
Eibach
H&R sports

Get H&R from http://www.acuratlparts.com/

I'm going to get the H&R Sport soon.

X10

VERY happy overall with the H&R Sport: Moderate drop, not too much, not too little; Just right. Good performance. Good price and quality.

Very, very comfortable day-to-day ride; Excellent handling when having a little fun. Adding a Progress RSB with the Sports will really help optimize your handling.

You can't beat Mike (aznbo187) as a supplier (www.acuratlparts.com). Great to work with.

Check the "Look What Came in the Mail Today" thread for before and after pics.

For suspension on the 3rd gen tl you have so many choices, oh man

The h&r sports handle better than comptech/eibach, and the rear won't sag

Its all about what you have in your budget to run

Tein basic coilovers or ss coilovers a lot of guys are running and aside from bouncy bounce here and there everyone loves em

Me, I am running Neuspeed Sports (for the accord v6), and they are damn near identical to the h&r sports

Springs will always be springs, but I will tell you this much if you want to have the most room to work with get koni yellows along with the choice of springs

Or get the neuspeed super cup kit (which I am going to get in a few weeks) it allows for 5 height adjustments

Ps. Flo Rida says it best, cars are usually females so, shorty got low low low low

With the drop of the H&R's. do you need camber kits?

H&R does not indicate the need in their product guide for Sports, but they do for Race Springs.

There is a Mr. Heel Toe tech article that indicates a camber kits is usually unnecessary with regard to maintaining tire wear, but good Toe alignment is crucial.

Virtually guaranteed that negative camber will be out during an alignment check. The question is: will it matter?

I agree with Bearcat94 and stillhere153 on the drop from H&R Sports. IMO, it's perfect.

Another vote for H&R Sport. I had the set and was very very happy with them.
