Splitting work VS-KF
Im trying to rechrome the centers of my work vs-kf's, ive already removed all the bolts and took a rubber mallet to the back of the center, but it is not budging. My question is has anybody done this? Is there silicon holding the center together?
Thanks, any input will be appreciated

Nevermind i figuered it out. I used a heat gun and a couple blows with the rubber mallet and the center pop right off.
Only question now is, should i rechrome the centers or fully polish everything. They are going on a wdp tl.
Wat do u guys think would look better?

i sent out the wheels to get polished, but i guess they cant polish the centers for some reason, so imma have to get the centers redipped in chrome.
took some pics before i tore the last wheel apart, its actually of the 19x10 thats going in the rear but i just tried it up front to check it out.
what u guys think?

they cant polish it because its covered in chrome. you can take it to a metal coating place, they use some chemicals to get the chrome off. then you can take it to get polished.
the 19x10 looks good up front, whats the offset on those?

the wheels are 19x9 et 38 up front and 19x10 et 33 in the back.
the polishing guy say that the type of metal couldnt be polished even after stripping in down. im just getting the lips and barrels polished for now. imma see if someone else can polish the centers instead.

finally got my wheels finished, it took a while and some cash, but i like the way they turned out. i sent the barrels to get fully polished, including the inside of the barrels and found a place that dechromed my centers and polished those aswell.
some pics were taken with a phone camara...
when i first split them

barrel polished

bought four tpms sensors and adapters to mount them

pic of wheel finished

test fitted on car

i went wit 215-35-19 upfront and 235-35-19 out back, it has a nice little strech to it.
just need to throw my suspension and a-spec and it should look nice...

been carrying these babies around in my trunk for the last 3 months, i just need to find some time to throw them on. i got spc front and rear camber kits to go along with it.
Why go with such small tires?!?! I have 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 and run a 245 up front and 265 in back! I would never go smaller then stock.
I like the wheels, just need to get those coilovers on asap!

a-spec still boxed up

i got them directly from F2, got a good deal on them
i went wit small tires because i wanted to run low without rubbing issues, i am pleased with how the rear 235-35 tires turned out but i should've gone with a 225-35 upfront instead of 215-35
