Question A-Spec wheel question

I've been looking on the countless websites trying to find a decent set of aftermarket wheels for my 06TL 6MT, but everytime I think I find something I like, I keep coming back to the A-Specs! There's just somethin about that clean 5 spoke look!

Question is this... can anyone help me out on the difference between the gunmetal finish and the ebony finish? I didnt even know there was an ebony finish until I found the set on ebay for $1200 (how good of a deal is that?). My TL is Anthracite, so I'd rather go with the darker finish versus the sparkle or chrome, just didnt know there was 2 shades of dark.... any help is appreciated.... thanks!!!!

The ebony finish is a more shiny finish and a slightly different shade. Looks really good on NBP. A lot of people mistake the 2 different finishes, they are very similar. The gunmetals look really good on AM.

gunmetals are really hard to find. they are similar to the sparkle silver which are still being made but gunmetals are a bit darker.

The ebony finish is a combination between the gunmetals and chrome, which is a dark chrome.

I was in the same boat as you and decided to go with the sparkle silvers. They're perfect.

Here's my ride for comparison. It's an 06 TL with the 8.5" wide gunmetals.

Good luck with your decision. Either way, A-specs have a nice blend to them!

Did you paint your grills?

They look different, and the back emblem is also different...

Yeah and I didn't notice it until after I took this picture a while ago. I thought it was the camera at first but sure enough, the paint is different. I didn't see it at first now every time I wash my car, it is all I see.
