a-spec suspension w/17 inch oem rims

Any problems with this combination? I actually like the oem rims and would rather not have to part with 2000 dollars for rims + tires. I have the michelin pilot sport A/S on there now which I love.

Anyone have some pics?

Same here...no pics, but I had no problems with the ASPEC suspension paired with OEM wheels.

Add me to the list... a-spec suspension with stock rims. No problems and love the suspension.

I have a crappy picture (took it with my Treo) of the before and I've been meaning to take after pictures...

OK, now I just have to find a place that is only selling the suspension...I've called 5-6 dealers and I get the same answer every time : only with the wheels.

You just have to be patient. Occasionally one of the dealers will put up just a suspension. Check the ebay stores a couple times a week. It took me a few months to find one.

BTW, I have the suspension and the stock wheels and I've had no problems. I would say the drop is maybe .5", but it looks fine to me.

What makes you think there'd be problems with the stock rims? Of course there won't be any.

The explanation I got when talking to several dealers is that Acura will only sell the kit complete and they've broken up so many kits that now they have too many wheels on hand.

I think we missed the boat by about 2 months. The only thing I have seen in the last week was a ebay auction for an 5AT. I'm waiting for a 6MT suspension kit to surface.

I ran with this combination for almost two years, until I finally upgraded to 18's three months ago. It works fine and I'll be changing back to it in the winter to protect said 18's. Click "rvw" next to the A-spec in my signature to get my initial impressions of the combo. You won't be sorry!
