Thumbs up a-spec suspension update!

It's been ten days and I am loving the new suspension. I can't believe I waited a year to do it but after much research and questions on here, I got it and couldn't be happier. Handling is much improved and ride is barely sacrificed if at all. This definitely seems to be one of the the best choices for improved handling while maintaining the luxury feel of the car. As others have noted, cornering is much better, the car doesn't dive as much when braking hard and understeer does seem to be a little better as well. I really think this should've been the stock suspension with the 6MT (they beefed up the RSB, why not the suspension?!). Thanks to everyone on here who helped me make my decision on my first mod. This board really is an incredible resource.

First Acura in Seekonk just gave me a deal of $749 on the suspension so it is on order! It should be in by friday along with my Toyo T1R's!
Did you do the install yourself and/or how much did you pay for install?

I had a shop do it. They did a good job and the cost was very reasonable. PM me if you want the details and are willing to come up to MA to have it done.

I concur. Definitely should have been the stock suspension.

I didn't want to go with the teins after alot of debating. I have heard that they decrease the ride quality much more than the a-spec. plus, i wouldn't lower the car more than 1" even if i had the teins. The road conditions in my state and town are terrible and the car would take a beating.
BTW, are those SS or basics, on ebay a seller has basics listed for $670 shipped.

I didn't get the chance to take good pictures before the install but I snapped off a few on my Treo in the morning before I had it done. If it ever stops raining around here, I'll take some after pictures and post them both.

Do you have the stock wheels or have you upgraded? I have 19's and the ride quality is not bad at all. I want a slight drop and was thinking of the apec suspension but didn't know how bad it would affect the ride.

Stock 17's on right now but I'm close to pulling the trigger on new 18's...

Did you get it installed yet? How do you like it? Who did the install and how much did they charge? Just wondering because I'm from RI too and will need someone to install these for me.

Did you call Inskip to see if they would sell you the suspension only?

Actually, I bought my car from First Acura in Seekonk. The service manager, Greg Dawson, is real cool along with the parts guy Keith. They sold me the suspension alone for $750 (decent price) and installed it for $350(good price). I was going to do it myself, but he offered to cover the install under the factory warranty for 4 years if they installed it, so i went that route.

BTW, I hate inskip and had NOTHING but bad experiences with them when i had my 01 BMW X5. I'd never buy from them again.
