My initial order was for Zinik Z17s with Nitto NT555 245/35/20 tires. A day or two after I placed my order, I got a call saying this package wouldn't fit my car. I told the rep that many other people had 20's on their car and didn't have a problem. So he said he would look into it. A day or two later, I get a call saying that my order is fine, but if I want it to ship I would have to change to Toyo Proxie 4 tires. I said that was fine. I was billed on the 5/14, the tires didn't ship till 5/18, and were received 5/25. I didn't get a email with an invoice or tracking number till 5/24. Thats a pretty horrible timeline of how to bill and ship an order.

When they charged my credit card they charged the price of the original package. So I figured I would be getting the Nittos. Well the Toyos were on the rims. The Toyo package is $92 cheaper. Additionally, the one rim is slightly damaged. Since its friday and a 3 day weekend I called custom wheels to have this taken care of. I get someone who is rushing to get me off the phone and am only able to complain about being overcharged. I was told my rep would be in tue or wed and would take care of it. Now that it is thursday and I haven't heard anything I called in my complaint again. I ended up speaking to the same person I did last time. After bringing up being overcharged again, the person was about to hang up on me again. Before he did I was able to make my complaint about the rim. So 1 week later I'm waiting for resolution of 2 problems.

Just a little warning if anyone is thinking about ordering from this site.
I'll post pics when I can take some better ones.

So I am disputing the charge with my CC company.

 

Quick update...

The $92 I was overcharged has now been refunded...

Still waiting for a resolution to the damaged rim...

shady indeed..... i tried ordering rims from them and all they did was waste my time..... i told them that these specific wheels just recently got discontinued... i told them i don't want some kind of bullshit answer saying that you guys can get them in and then having to call me back saying they couldn't... buddy was like "yeah we have them and they'll be 6-8weeks aways...." i confirmed with him that this better not be some BS and that you can get these wheels in... so i wait... no calls.... evertime i called them to find out if they were, they'll hang up or say they'll call me back.

finally 8weeks pass. i call, and what do you know... "they'll be 6 to 8 weeks" FUCK THAT give me a refund. and that was 2 weeks ago and i still haven't gotten my refund so i'll be bitching at them monday mornin... honestly majority online tires stores are shady.... you'd be surprise the shit i've been though just trying to get these wheels and i still haven't gottem them
