A-Spec Brakes on Stock 17" wheels

Hello Everyone,

Does anyone know if the Brembo Calipers and Rotors on the 6spd Manual will work with the stock 17" wheels?. I am thinking about changing out my brakes to these larger brakes.

The Brembo calipers and rotors come standard on the 6MT without aspec package; therefore, its got the 17" wheels.

It's not possible, IIRC...different halfshafts into the different transmissions.

Yes, I have an auto and I am thinking about geting the big brakes. It should just bolt up to the existing hub. The A-Spec package is a dealer installed option from what I understand, and I cannot see Acura making the car with 2 different hubs to accomodate the brakes. The brake master cylinder should be the same and so should be the hubs. I will have to check part numbers on some parts to see if they are the same.

They don't just bolt up, as other have explained.

The brembo brakes come with the 6sp manual car, and have nothing to do with Aspec. There is an Aspec brake upgrade for the auto, but it's just new brake pads.

You're better off going aftermarket and getting yourself a Stoptech kit.... a lot more bang for the buck
