Shocks

Is there a possible way to change struts and/or coils to get a soft ride on a 04 acura tl.

So I guess 07-08 base TL shocks and springs along with a set of Michelin Primacy MXM4 tires (and to go another step, 16" wheels if you have an automatic)

If you can go stock, that's your best bet for a soft ride. Otherwise, the Tokico HP Series shocks are one of the more comfortable aftermarket shocks out there.
Tokico Shocks - HP Series - Excelerate Performance - Japanese and European Performance Specialists!!

You could also go with OEM springs or maybe TEIN HTech if you want it a little lower but still relatively comfortable.

and as Robocam said, go down to a 16 inch wheel with lots of sidewall for maximum comfort.
