shocks?

I recently got a set of h&r race springs, and i was wondering if it is totally necessary that i get shocks with these springs? How does the ride feel if anyone has this kind of set-up? Thank You in advance!

H&R Fitment site strongly recommends sport shocks with those springs. Your stockers might last for a little while, but don't count on much.

the stock shocks were designed to work in a certain range of travel on the shaft

When you lower the spring height you lower that work area as well

Within 6 months they will likely fail... then you pay again to remove the shock aseembly- dismantle and now put in good shocks

I could only imagine were i would get them from, i was hoping you guys would say its not totally necessary because in these times there isnt much money to throw into cars so i guess im going to have to wait a while to get everything on at once.
