Question Shock Removal and Install

Going to be putting some Koni shocks on my car in a couple of weeks. I tried searching, hoping that there would be some manual pages or pictures of those who have done it before. I'm assuming it's a straight forward process, but I'd like to have a reference. Anyway, I couldn't find a thread, so I would appreciate some direction if at all possible.

Thanks!

Job is not to hard. Def not for a Beginner who has never done it before
Front is easier since you just have to Remove bolts from wheel well and engine bay. Rear is a PITA. You have to remove your back seats and Rear Deck to get access to the top Bolts of your rear struts. In the wheel Well I believe there is on bolt to remove. Besides that you need a way of safely compressing the springs to remove the top hat off the strut. Besides that I think its a weekend Job. take you a few hours if you do it alone at your house. Look at some tutorials on installed Coilovers. There are a few on here and it will show u exactly what do to, You just have to minus the part of installing the Coils

DIY's, Service Manual Scans, etc. for a LOT of the common mods are on this page:https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-2004-2008-93/3g-tl-garage-faq-3g-tl-newbies-553554/

It's worth bookmarking.

For your rears, you'll need to remove the back seat. It can be a PITA. In the very first link there is a thread or two on Back Seat Removal (with Service Manual Scans). May add to what DeathMetal has in his shocks DIY.

Also, in 2G TL there is a very good write up with pics. 2G TL shocks/springs are nearly identical to 3G. Here: https://acurazine.com/forums/2g-tl-tires-wheels-suspension-100/diy-lowering-dropping-your-tl-623631/

Thanks again. I've done some research and found a good 'how to' on removing the rear seats and tray to get to those bolts on the rear shock. One of those links you posted earlier is also a great walk through on where the bolts are that hold that stuff on. I knew the rest of the info I was looking for was on here, just needed some direction to find it. Thanks again man!
