as one of the other posters posted about issue with his eibach 4044.140's on his TL, his dealer said that since 4044.140's were originally for accord that they may not be stiff enough for TL since TL is heavier.

i believe this is a case of "same chassis, same spring" mentality, but in reality the same spring should not be used because the weights of the cars are different, even though the chassis is the same. this would not be optimal spring engineering.

my 4044.140's arrive today or tomorrow.

now, if you look at the Eibach website, it shows more of a drop on 03 accord using the 4044.140's than 4044.140's on TL, this suggests to me that the accord is actually heavier.

i noticed that it dropped the accord more too. i was thinking that maybe it was a typo... but i saw the same information on the tein website. (lowered accord more then TL) but its gotta be the same springs. no manufacturer would have the same part number AND label it a different car. that would lead to too many misunderstandings during the ordering process.
