Rota rims ... questions

Hi,
Does anyone know about the quality of these rims? Also do these rims bend easier than other rims because they are so light?

I think rota = konig...
I remember ordering a set of rota years ago and instead of the
rota labels it came with konig.

Hey JeffyTL, I was thinking about getting the Rota Subzero's cuz they are very light and inexpensive!!!! They make a 18x7.5 w/ +45 offset (which is perfect) for $600 a set of 4 that's right 4!!!!!!! and that's with FREE shipping! that's at www.machiii.net If you've seen them any cheaper let me know! They only weigh 19 lbs vs stocks 26 lbs! And the tires just make sure you get 235-35ZR18's or 225-45 to make sure you have enuff rubber so they don't bend so easy!!! I've done sum research on them and they are made out of Low-Pressure Cast which is the 2nd to the last but that's why they are so cheap. Anyway they should work out just fine!!! I'll get those until I can decide on which damn 19" I want

So you are not worried at all about bending them? It seems like the spokes are pretty thin and like you said the amterial isn't the best. I was planning on htrowing some 225/40 t1-s's on them. Let me what you think. Its a hard decision, 600 is a heck of a deal. But if they bend easy I am just going to stick the the 18's i already have.

Yeah the subzero's don't come with any center caps! They have that race look which means no center cap (light look). They look just like the Racing Hart CP-O35's and are the same weight as well but of coarse the RH are forged!!! AS long as your tires fit the whole rim, you should be fine! I tried to go and see the rims in person but not to many places have them in stock!!!!!! ANYWHERE!!!!!!!!! unless I buy them That business is hard (people want to C what they are buying!!!!!!!)

I don't know if that helps or not but again they are light and cheap! BTW what style were you looking at and how much????

Your 18x7.5 Giovanna Corsicas (silver) are really heavy right but your t1's are sweet tires!

I know when I was shopping for wheels for my Integra, I was told by alot of the guys on H-A.net to go Rota. I think they all worship that wheel over there!!! I do believe they are the same thing as Konig, and as far as I can tell, everybody I talked to thought they were a pretty decent wheel. I ended up buying a set of Volks instead because I wanted something stronger (forged). But after a month and a half, a HUGE pothole bent the lip slightly on one of my Volks!! It doesn't really matter how the wheel is made, if you hit a nice big pothole, it will bend!!
