Is RonJon still making the Devotions

I was just ready to pick a set up and I no longer see them on the website.

I need some 18 or 19's for my 04 TL.

i believe he is making them still. Just not in 3 pc, and not forged. I think he said he's just going to be making them cast.

I'm new to aftermarket wheels. Can someone please explain what the difference is btw 3pc forged and cast iron?

I also am very interested in the Devotions, though I haven't even bought my TL yet!

Thanks

forged = stronger AND lighter
cast = not as strong, can be light, depending on how much material is used

correct me if i'm wrong, but forged wheels are usually just a solid block of metal that is presssed into it's shape? (3 pc - 3 pieces are pressure pressed into it's shape and then bolted together). Cast is basically pouring melted aluminum into a molding and creating a wheels.

Forged does not really mean stronger, only the same exact amount of metal will be stronger in forged than in cast, however, Cast wheels go thru much morew tests and engineering than forged. Since forged wheels only require a $500 cad file to be produced, cast wheels require $10K+ molds which reap a higher amount of concern and development on behalf of the contracted factory who would assume responsibility of the potentially defected product, where as the forged supplier is usually a simple machine shop who doesn't give a rats ass. Trust me, i've dealt with tons of these companies.
