Talking Rims size help plssss......

I have a '04TL 6MT. My girlfriend going to buy me Volk racing (SF Chalange rims). I am interested with 18x9. what is the offset and tire size to fit into? Thx

I see that you are new to this forum so first of all let me welcome you to "our little world". Now, not trying to be a butt, but the search feature is yoru friend. Also, just reading one or two post of others askign "what's the right wheel size, offset, etc may well answer all yoru questions. Must have a wealthy girlfriend as those are about a $3K set of rims.

thx for the welcome. I have been ready pretty much lately. i just not very sure what is the offset means. shame on me, huh. thx for the suggestion though. she is not that wealthy. she told me, it will be our anniversary gift for me. thx again ndabunka

Offset is how the center aligns with the rest of the rim (how much the hub is "off center". Search on offset. Some of the threads even have graphics (which help).

Stock offsest is 45 and if you stay around that, you will do OK. Offhand, I'd say the 9-inch rim would "best fit" a 38mm offset.

dont go with 18's i think they look a lil small, go with 19's

hahahahaha..... thx for the suggestions guys... I like my car looks elegant. so i think 18 will do fine. 19 is just too big for me.

I have chrome 18'' rims and they look good!!!! I think 19's are quite big....good luck aphunx
