Rim Scratch

I just bought my '04 TL an month ago, and to my dismay I got a pretty big scratch on one of my rims, where the tire meet the actaul rim, any suggestions on what to do without replacing the rim?

Thanks

Find a wheel repair shop. A good one can make it look like new.

Get sand paper and file it down. I had a scratch in the same spot and I filed it down and you cant tell i ever hit the rim. Just be careful with your sanding to not scrape the rim. Good luck.

Wet sand it (sand while continuously and lightly wetting the area to be sanded) with some fine grit sandpaper 600-1200 and then use a little clear coat paint so that the aluminum will not oxidize esp. if you live near the snow belt. I gotta do 2 of my rims but do realize that's scratched rims are a part of life no matter how careful you are.
