Replacing OEM Shocks

I have Tein S Techs on my 04 auto TL. My OEM shocks are blown and need to upgrade. What kind of shocks are people using. I don't want a full coilover system.

The only one available in the market is Koni Sport. Eibach Pro-damper will follow in summer.

For the people who have Koni Sports. What are the PROs and CONs and would you recommend them.

the stock shocks can only handle 1" of lowering so you were doomed from the start.

What springs/shock combo are people running. I don't want to go with a full coilover but that may be my best bet.

The majority of people here use either Tein, Comptech, Eibach, or H&R springs on Koni Sport.

I had Koni Sport myself for 10k miles and sold it to a member in this forum recently.

The Pros
- rebound adjustable
- somewhat height adjustable
- good ride quality for the performance

Cons
- price

yeah i figure if you do the koni's shocks and some nice springs you should be fine the problem is that you will most likely spend what it cost to get a full coilover.

What about TEIN Basics. They are a little more than Koni Yellows. Any comments on them.
