I have a set of Function Form Type 1 coilovers for my 3G TL. Bought them on here from seller saying it only has 500 miles on it. Put it on and its getting a clunking sound from the front and rear. I had the setting up pretty high. So I am thinking the shocks are dead. I was going to replace the shocks, Function Form has the Type 2 replacement shocks. Does anyone know if the Type 2 shocks will fit the Type 1 coilover?

i was thinking of doing the same thing. I think the shocks are a bit different atleast to me they are. I would call FF and ask they are really friendly and helpful

a replacement shock for FF1 is $75 + tax & shp

 

I didn't put it on right when I got them so disputing would be my words against his. I just take it as a loss.

Yeah, hopfully FF would tell me if there is a difference. I'd put out the extra to be able to control my dampening.
