reliability of these rims
my friend is planning on purchasing rims for his 350z and i came across this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/20-MA...spagenameZWDVW. does anyone know if these rims are reliable and are they from a good company.

i know the seller personally and if they are selling them they have to be good. You should see some of the cars these guys have put together. their "customer's rides" inclutes bentley GT's , a ferrari enzo, and almost every exotic under the sun. (including MY CAR! :-) their service is impecable, and they nicest guys around. I won't go anywhere else for my mods.
their friend (shop is down the street) built the veilside 350Z for the fast and the furious (i'm not usually awed by those cars, but that car is A MONSTER.
now I know it's not saying much about those particular rims, but if they are selling them, I have no question about their quality. Just call them up and ask. ask for edwin, and tell them Allan sent you. (2005 white Acura TL with Axis rims)

dude those rims are mayas. they are fairly expensive and as good quality as most any other high end rim out there. i've seen a lot of mayas on z's, g35's, etc.

uh oh...usually tose "imitation" brands have bad quality...might as well get the actual Mayas...my friend has MAYA STMs on his m3 and are of pretty good quality. They are made or distributed by the same company which is DAZZ MOTORPORT, which also caries Racing Hart, Hartge and Lowenhart <---high end and expensive, which means you gotta take care of em like a mofo..lol
I had the Racing Hart 3-piece C5 when they first came out a couple years ago and they take pothole beatings and all those solid metals that they use to temporarily patch up potholes. After 6 years, they are still pretty good...only prob are the curb scratches...grr
