Quiet tires for ASPECS?

As odd and uncommon as it sounds, I would love to have a very quiet set of summer tires for the aspecs I just picked up. I won't ever track or race my car, but possibly some minor spirited driving. I just love a nice quiet ride...

Any recommendations?

They can get expensive but from my experience, its hard to beat the ride and quietness.

Ok thanks. So looking at roughly $8-900, not too bad.

i wouldnt call the RE960s summer tires...

Not sure what your budget is, but middle of the road budget tires that i ahve been looking at for a-spec wheels are Yokohama S.Drive, Bridgestone RE760, and possibly some flavor of bf goodrich...

I've had these tires for 33k or so and I don't really consider them "real quiet"

I would rate them 6.5/10 in terms of quietness.

Yea, I want QUIET and SMOOTH! Ideally to me budget for these tires should be around $150/tire....200 max.

I had bf goodrich and at high speeds it will be noisy, but smooth. Now i got new wheels and some michelin ps2 tires. Those are a bit pricey about 270 a tire, but there are no noise and it is smooth.

Go to Tirerack and check out user reviews of Sumitomo HTR Z 111. I have them on my A Specs, around 800 milies now and find them terrific. Quiet, as you asked for, as least as quiet as the stock all season Bridgestones, good a ride and sticky as well. 245/40/18 at $119 are a bargain. I've had plenty of performance tires (Yoko Prada Spec 2 on my MCS) and these are one of my favorites.
