Quick Question Regarding Bolt/Lug Patterns

I've found some wheels on Craigslist that are VERY nice wheels, though they look a little beat up in the pics. They are Iforged Swifts. They were on his '04 BMW 330 and he said they're a 5lug 120mm (5x120). I was wondering if those would fit my '04 TL? I'm sure if they did I'd have to get a adapters. He's only asking $1300 but I know he'll take less b/c they've been on there for awhile. My only concern is fitment/offset and the scratches...I might have to do some serious polishing if they look bad. Any help?

you have 225 posts and you are asking this? No 5x120 won't fit 5x114 mm lug pattern.

Depending what the offset of those is, you could get adapters. Look in the black market section, member LIGHTS is selling MDX wheels with adapters. Ask him where he got the adapters from. But make sure that offset of these wheels is high. Because if it's not, then when you put adapters on, offset is gonna be even smaller and making these wheels stick out FAR past the fender. You could re-drill these but that might be a headache. It all depends if its worth it to you

I'm out at our drilling rig and didn't feel like scrolling through my Iphone forever when I can just post asking the question. I've been trying to find adapters but all the website are either the most bullshit sites to search on or they make you look through all of them without a search. Thank you though for the info. I'll find out the offset once he texts me back!

I think that ichiba has wheel adapters. google ichiba site and I am sure you will find what you need. And that's a good company as well.

edit: sorry they only have 5x120 to 5x114, not the other way around. H&R probably has some though

Thanks for the help man. Now I gotta go check them out to even see if they're quality enough and not scratched to hell. Those fully polished forged wheels have to be taken care of very well of they're fucked. Lots of stuff you can and can't do on them

Ok so I haven't heard back from the guy but I heard Iforged doesnt give out the offset info on their wheels. From my searches it looks like they'd be around +25 or so. Would that work? Mind you I'd have to get the wheel adapters. I still don't quite understand the offset stuff haha

if the wheels are around 25mm offset that means that if you put an adapter (minimum is around 15mm but I could be wrong), it would make your wheels +10mm offset. that would make the wheels stick out pretty far out and you would have to get your fenders modified pretty extremely. That is if you get adapters that are 15mm. I heard somewhere that they are minimum 25mm that would make the wheels 0mm offset
