ok i planning on getting konig hotswap 19x8 offset is 40

question i have is what will be the difference if i placed stock tire size on them 235/45/17 vs 235/35/19 ? i know nothing about tires just saw that there was a $40 difference in price per tire though.

 

17" is the rim diameter .. the 17" tires won't fit on a 19" rim.

 

thats what i had figured, just was a bit confused. There was a thread here from like 2007 in blackmarket area stating someone had put 235/45/17 on exact same wheels. Prolly a typo i suppose
