well polished will be the one. but i say but if you are not willing to polish these rims all the time then dont get them. if you dont keep up on them then they will turn dull, duller then the silver finish. i had polished rims on my car and it sucked. hey if you like polishing your wheels once every week or two be my guest. i dont like them personally

Not necessarily true. Depends on the type of polish. But, most
polished rims are fine for quite some time. And if they ever do
dull, you can have them professionally repolished for about $20
bucks a wheel. On the other hand, silver wheels will scratch and
chip. It is only paint and will not last as long. I have partly polished
and painted rims. In less than a month, the painted part already
has rock chips. Where as my friend with polished nsx rims are in
perfect shape without ever touching em. If you get the polish that
comes on say american racing rims, they dull very easily.

thanks closer and 3.0 4 ur responses. The wheels i'm looking at are 3piece and made in japan and are supposedly very high quality. Heres a pic:
I'm not sure if that silver or polish on the 2nd one but the 1st is obviously chrome. Is the polish similar 2 the finish on the integra Gs-r ninja star alloys? thanks , oh yea what do u guys think of the rims? they r for a white G6 accord coupe.

LOL! TrafficStar DTS' right? Closer has the same exact wheels in 19". And I beleive the 2nd pic is of the polished. I'm sure he can answer any question's you have regarding the up-keep of them.

I'm not sure of TrafficStar but some wheels with polished finishes are clear coated to protect from oxidation.

Here....these are polished wheels...Not quite as shiny as chrome, but pretty close enough.. These are 17x7, for my '66 Mustang..

Your welcome. Same island but they call this place Queens.

Here is Closer's spec on his DTS. It's up on the sticky "Post Spec's Here" above (last page).

"Trafficstar DTS Polished Finish
19"x8"
47 offset
Yokohama AVS Sport
235/35-19
dropped on comptech
very rarely rub with 3 people in car. (have not cut tab or rolled)
purchased from: value
weight: 26lbs w/o tire."

At least that answers your polished question because they look exactly the same as Closer's pic's of his set.
