Pinstriping Type-S rim
Hello guys..
I saw some people on the forum have pinstriped their Type S rims to match their body color, and let me tell you, it looks hot.
I want to do the same thing.
Question is..
Is it better to use the tape or paint?
If tape is recommended, where can i get some white tape for my WDP?
Thanks

wait... if you buy the correct tape... which is the same tape the gp moto guys use... they will never melt off...
do a quick ebay search... kawasaki stripe... you will find pinstripe kits for $10... they send you enough stripping to do 6 wheels.... or 2 spares... they can even do custom sizes... like on the type s wheels I would do a 6mm pinstripe so that it is directly only on the edge of the lip
For paint... it will look good in pics and from far away but not as good after a long time... I would get them powdercoated for the real professional detail look... the tape is superficial and if it gets messed up by lets say a curb mark you just cover it with some more tape the paint ur pretty much screwed because if you retouch it... it either wont match or will look like ass
