even if we do post pics of powder coated waffle wheels; it'll look the same as painted waffle wheels.

plus, no one will have the exact same color combination that you are wanting; + flake.

I havent really seen anything other than the lighter or darker stock color. IMO waffles should remain the stock color with high gloss

here a pic of my powdercoated waffles

as you can see, they are powdercoated the same color, I decided to do that instead of repainting so its more durable

George-any close up shots? Do they still have the glossiness that the stock wheels had?

I want to do the same to my '04 Stockies........

Not my car

I want to do the same thing, but I don't think it will look the same on 04-06 stockies and my ride height.

heres pics when I picked them up from the powdercoating shop. the match is perfect, it matched the center caps 100%. has a very tiny amount of flakes like OEM and the shade is perfect. I dont think you could tell a difference if you placed it next to an original finish tls rim

paperboy: do you know what ppowdercoat that is? like the code? I want mine to look as close as possible to the OEM dark batch. was looking at harley davidson black pearl not a match to OEM but man it looks sick. And also can you get the centre caps sprayed as well?? I never even thought about my centre caps until today.. would look really stupid with OEM paint on the caps on black pearl rims.

powdercoat isnt sorted by code like paint is. every company makes their own catalog, so it all depends on which company the powdercoat shop goes with. for reference, this color is called anthracite metallic, and you can get it in gloss, matte, or semi gloss coating, or no clear coat at all.

yeah you can spray the caps but definitely no powdercoat.

I did my 8.5 aspecs in the same powdercoat too, ignore the color difference thats just from lighting
