Thanks for posting the pics!
But after seeing them (must be me), I like ours the way they are (stock). Understated but still classy. If anything, I think the black 6MT calipers are pretty good, but fire engine red just doesn't do it for me.

I cannot see the pics at all!!! Many posts are inserting an image tag into a url tag and that does not show up in my browser.
What up with this mods?
I have to do a Quote reply, remove the URL tags and preview to see.

looks good!
did you use brake caliper paint or engine?
Make sure you clear coat them with a few coats...otherwise you gonna be repainting them in a few months to a year... lil rocks chip that paint away like no other.
i had this dont on my Prelude and Now on G35 so trust me clear coat hold up much better plus its easier to clean and looks glossy just like the brembo's or in this the Fake wanna be brembos

I just painted my rear calipers black to match the front Brembos. It looks awesome!! Like they should have looked from the factory. It took no time at all. I painted the hubs silver too, both with high temp paint.
I used an air compressor to blow out the dirt and brake dust ( DON"T inhale it!!!)
Sprayed it with tons of brake cleaner, scrubbed them with a brush, and wiped them down
lightly sanded the surfaces and sprayed more cleaner, and wiped again
let it dry and then
masked off the rubber spacers and bleeder screws and rotor shroud
and then painted the calipers with a brush
the rotors were the same process except with silver paint and made sure not to paint in the direction of the caliper.
-Definetly an easy do it yourself with out having to remove the calipers.

For some reason the clear coat that i did over a year ago... still looks as though i just painted the other day. BRIGHT AS HELL too.
i wouldnt wait too long. cause you will build up dirt on it and you would need a good cleaner... i tend to use Rubbing alcohol .. and prior to it i use simple green.
